The Good Indian Employee's Guide To Surviving A Lala Company

The Good Indian Employee’s Guide to Surviving a Lala Company is an essential read for anyone navigating the unique landscape of Indian family-owned businesses. Written by Rajiv Gupta, a corporate veteran with over 30 years of experience, this book is packed with candid insights, practical advice, and a touch of humor, making it relatable and enjoyable.

Through vivid real-life examples and humorous cartoons, this guide reveals the dual perspectives of both employee and employer. It dives deep into the distinct culture of Lala Companies—known for their loyalty and traditional values, yet often shaped by rigid hierarchies and blurred personal boundaries. The book offers invaluable advice on how employees can not only survive but thrive in these settings, while also providing owners with strategies to strengthen both their business and family bonds.

Since its launch, The Good Indian Employee’s Guide to Surviving a Lala Company has been celebrated for its honest take on building trust, transparency, and communication in family businesses and was Shortlisted in Top 5 for the 2023 BBLF CK Prahlad Best Book Business Award.

It’s a must-read for anyone looking to make a meaningful impact in the family business world.
